The commissary is my new favorite place.  Who knew I could find such happiness out of a store.  As long as I have a car next semester (crossing fingers), I'm going to be taking a nice hour and a half road trip up to Ogden once or twice a semester just so i can go to Hill AFB...and go to the comissarry. not even kidding.  hmm...Mark will be up at BYUI winter semester next year, so I can go visit him on a weekend and on the way back stop in Ogden.  Yep, I like that idea. 

I'm happy to report that I honestly only watched about one hour of TV a week this semester....American Idol.  If that's not self-control, I don't know what is.

I love days off.  Too bad today was the first of only two for the semester.  Oh well, I'm over it.  I slept in until 11:00, did some homework, went to Cafe Rio with Kerri, Nichole, and Andrew, bummed around some more, and then played a crazy game of CTF with about 20 people from my ward for a couple of hours.  It was cold.  I was supposed to go skiing today with Emily and Adam, but I decided not to.  One of these days.....  We played a crazy game of Balderdash (it was some extreme version with words, dates, movies, people, and acronyms.  crazy fun) for an hour or so for FHE--learned the acronym E.D.L.A stands for exotic dancers' league of america...just in case you wanted to know. 

I have band tomorrow night--I'm such a nerd.  There are definitely 18 french horns in my band--crazy crazy...but it shall be grand.  I'm going to try to land an internship at Barnes-Jewish/Wash U Center for Aging this summer.  I'd be working one on one with a mentor researching or doing some kind of lab work.  Don't know if I'll get it, but it's worth a shot.  8 weeks--$3000 stipend.  Not too shabby if you ask me.  I just signed up to volunteer as a Chem Lab Assistant at Provo High...haha that should be entertaining.  Well, 8 am chem recitation is not too far away, so it's time to hit the sack.

First off, Christmas music is pretty much amazing.

Thanksgiving was way fun.  California was actually cold--I about froze at night.

I survived almost a week without Law & Order.  Amazing.
